Here at Dura Pump we offer a pump installation service across a huge variety of pumps and pump systems, carried out by our team of highly skilled, friendly and efficient mechanical engineers. They are consistently trained to ensure our customers benefit from the latest and most effective methods, and we’re accredited to ConstructionlineBuilder’s Profile, and CHAS, among others.

There are very few industries and sectors we haven’t completed an installation for, from construction to education, hotels, local authorities and zoos. Something that all these have in common is that time is money, which makes accurate pump specification and timely installation paramount. We understand budgets and deadlines can be tight, so our goal is to always supply and install the best suited, most cost-effective and highly energy efficient pump system swiftly to get you up and running again in no time.

HOW DOES OUR PUMP INSTALLATION SERVICE WORK?

Thanks to our excellent relationships with our manufacturing partners we have access to virtually every pump and accessory available in the world. These include high profile brands like Lowara, Calpeda and KSB, and with so much choice we can ensure the solution you receive is one that’s entirely tailored to the application.

Installation is available as a standalone offering, however, most commonly we carry out installation as part of our complete offering which also includes design, supply, commissioning and maintenance. This gives you one port of call for your pumps – because we can handle it all!

Once you’re happy with the chosen pump system specification we’ll supply and install at a time that’s convenient for you. The service is completed when all the electrical and mechanical connections are made and the system is ready for commissioning.

WE ARE EXPERIENCED IN THE INSTALLATION OF:

Process pumps

We’re a leading supplier of process pumps, so whether you’re pumping something common like wastewater or something a little more challenging like solid food, we can design, supply and install the pump system that’s right for your operation. We’ve got extensive experience in a wide variety of process pumps including barrel and drum unloaders, chemical pumps, peristaltic pumps, rotary lobes and progressive cavity pumps. No matter how unusual your pump issue is, chances are we’ve seen it before and we know how to optimise it.

Sewage pumps

Having an effective and efficient sewage pump is crucial to the smooth running of any operation. We’ll analyse your system and choose the sewage pump to suit. We can install vortex submersible pumps for sewage and stormwater applications where there’s a high sand content, grinder pumps for when there’s a high head application or small pipework size, and channel impellers for when there’s a high flow. We’ll decide which sewage pump is best and get you back on track.

Packaged pump stations

We also offer packaged pump stations from our unique Velocity range, which includes a variety of packages to suit different applications and tank size options. These systems are built off-site and all pipework is pre-assembled to the chamber, so when it arrives at your site installation is incredibly simple. With a packaged solution you’re getting a number of additional benefits, check out our latest article for all the benefits of a packaged pump station.

Booster sets

We’re experienced installers of booster sets, the solution to achieving reliable water pressure. We’ve worked with hotels, factories, car washes and prisons, as well as many others, in the installation of booster sets to get water pressure under control. We can adapt and customise our booster systems so they work perfectly for your requirements, giving you a turnkey solution for constant pressure.

Pressurisation sets

Our team are experts at pressure boosting. Pressurisation sets serve many purposes; they’re designed to replace water that’s been lost through system leakage, to maintain the system design fill-pressure in sealed heating and chilled water systems, and to provide safety circuits locking out the chiller unit or boiler in the event of extreme pressures.

And that’s just a sample of what we can offer you – If you’d like to enquire about pump installation give us a call on 01604 648 800.

KEEPING DOWNTIME TO A MINIMUM

Often when there’s an issue with your pumps, the problem needs to be resolved as a matter of urgency. We were contacted by a floor manufacturing plant who required a basic pump station for stormwater runoff from their yard. As stormwater can cause major environmental issues if not dealt with quickly, we knew we’d have to act fast. In fact, the solution had to be delivered and installed within just 48 hours.

We supplied a single pump station on flexible pipework – simple to run and quick to install. Quotation to delivery to site happened in under 48 hours, meeting the deadline and resulting in a reliable long-term solution.

Another – perhaps even more urgent – situation was when we received a call at 2:30pm from a large private hospital whose heating pump had failed and would consequently cause the cancellation of 20 operations the next day. By 4pm a Dura Pump engineer was on site and by 7pm the installation of their replacement inverter had begun. The unit has been completed, programmed, tested and commissioned all by 9:30pm, which meant the operations could go ahead as planned.
