Lowara have two different varietys of these self priming pumps. Their Range includes the SP Self-Priming Pumps and the BG range of Self-Priming centrifugal pumps.
As the name suggests self priming pumps pumps prime themselves. These pumps are designed to work and pull liquid through even when there is no liquid directly in the valute. A self priming pump is a pump that will pump the air in the ssytem out first drawing the water along the pipe until the pump pumps water instead of air.
