The Dura Pump Alert system enables you to monitor your system remotely and receive messages via text or email as a result of an alarm, fault or warning on the system. The system installed is a telemetry unit, which sends messages to up to 10 mobile numbers or email addresses, each time an alarm, fault or warning is triggered. The key benefit of this system is that it provides you early notice and allows you to react to the issue before there is a complete failure or possible flooding.
This system is well suited for monitoring remote or multiple sites. It takes away the need for regular or daily checks from the maintenance or engineering team, ensuring your peace of mind.
The system is programmed to send a text or email, upon receiving a trigger such as loss of power, pump tripped, high level or a regular “all ok”. These can be programmed to suit your site and the system’s needs.
The system requires a sim card to operate. (see SIM options below) The annual cost to run a system like this depends on the quantity of numbers or emails programmed to the system, and how many texts it has to send. Therefore, a system that is programmed to message 8 mobile numbers or email addresses at 10p per text would cost £0.80p per message. It is important that the mobile signal strength is checked at the location where the unit is to be mounted. If the system is to be located in a remote location, up-rated aerials can be installed.
Maintenance
If you require us to monitor your system, please ask one of our team for a quote for one of our fantastic maintenance packages. Our Proserv Silver or Gold maintenance contacts include Dura Pump monitoring your system and advising you of the relevant actions required. If you do not have a maintenance package, you will be required to monitor the system and respond as necessary.
We recommend pump stations are serviced at a minimum 12 months’ interval. Some systems may require more regular visits, depending on usage, liquid and set up.
