Back in 1975, the first seed of Dura Pump was planted in a garage attached to a house in Northampton. The desire was to provide a high-quality engineering service that was reliable and professional. 1975
The begining
Company formed in a garage in Northampton. Founder Stephen Calder goes out on his own setting up his own business.
1980
First Premises
We move to our first business premises in Dunster Street, Northampton.
2000
New Premises
We move to 5,000 sq ft of office, warhouse and workshop space.
2000
25 years
We celebrate 25 years of business.
2005
Family Partnership
Sons and son in law join family partnership.
2006
Specialising in Pumps
In 2006, we focus exclusively on pumps and pump services.
2008
Acquisition
We acquire Denver Tanks Ltd to provide an extended pump product range.
2010
GSM Launch
We launch our new GSM product to provide remote monitoring for pump stations.
2011
Established Volk Pumpen
We established Volk Pumpen to provide an extended pump product range.
2012
Certification
We become Safe Contractor Certified.
2013
Accreditations
We achieve CHAS Elite Accreditation.
2014
Gold Line
We become a Construction Line Gold Member.
2015
Directorship
We become Incorporated and our Directors are appointed.
2017
Contracts Launched
We launch our Proserv Maintenance Contract.
2017
The Re-Brand
We re-brand and introduce a new logo and strapline.
2019
App Launch
We launch our Connect App for central storage of customer assets with 24/7 access.
2022
ISO Accreditation
We achieve ISO 9001 14001 accreditation.
2023
HMS Prisons
We celebrate working with HMS Prisons for 15 years.
2024
The Move
The team move to our new 16,000 sq ft premises with improved offices, workshop facilities and increased storage.
2025
50 Years
We celebrate 50 years in business.
