Lowara – Booster Sets

Lowara Booster Sets Range

ResiBoost

The ResiBoost is a series of constant pressure systems for residential water supply. It’s a complete packaged solution including Lowara stainless steel pumps, a variable speed drive and all other necessary components in one package.

Specification

  • Liquid temperature 0 – 50 °C

Flow & Head

  • Max Flow: 28m³/h
  • Max Head: 95 m

Hydrotube… Genyosystem

Small, built-in, fully automatic pressure boosters. These units consist of a single phase pump, diaphragm tank, pressure switch, pressure gauge and various connectors suitable for potable water systems. The units are fully assembled and ready to be connected to the building’s water system or pump water directly from a well.

Specification

  • Liquid temperature 0 – 40 °C

Flow & Head

  • Max Flow: 28.8m³/h (480l/min)
  • Max Head: 77 m

GXS20, GXD20

Extensive range of constant speed twin pump booster sets controlled by pressure switches or pressure transducers. The range has been designed for residential water supply where the need is varying over time.

Specification

  • Liquid temperature 0 – 60°C

Flow & Head

  • Max Flow: 62 m³/h
  • Max Head: 160 m

Mini

Lowara Booster sets complete with break tank – suitable for boosting cold water via type A/B air gap on domestic, commercial, industrial and building applications, energy saving variable speed models available fitted with the Teknospeed.

Specification

  • Cold water only

Flow & Head

  • Max Flow: 7 m³/h
  • Max Head: 50 m

GHVR

With its unique manifold layout the GHVR booster set is specifically designed for environments with limited space. Compared to a traditional inline booster set, pipework footprint is significantly reduced allowing you to make the most of your floor space. The Lowara GHV series booster sets are fully automatic booster sets for water supply, water pressure increase and water transfer.

Specification

  • Liquid temperature -30°C – +120°C

Flow & Head

  • Max Flow: 22 m³/h
  • Max Head: 160 m

SMB

The SMB series is a variable speed booster sets range, designed for water pressure boosting and transfer in applications. SMB feature variable speed thanks to permanent magnet motors and integrated variable frequency drives. This ensures energy savings and quiet operation.

Specification

  • Liquid temperature 0 – 120°C

Flow & Head

  • Max Flow: 90 m³/h
  • Max Head: 150 m

GHV

The Lowara GHV series booster sets are fully automatic booster sets for water supply, water pressure increase and water transfer in condominiums, office buildings, hotels, public buildings, industries and other applications.

Specification

  • Liquid temperature from -30°C – +120°C

Flow & Head

  • Max Flow: 640m³/h
  • Max Head: 160 m

GS

The Lowara GS series booster sets are fully automatic booster sets for water supply. They are equipped with 2-3 fixed speed pumps (where one can be a jockey pump), control panel, SM30 controller and pressure transmitters, all mounted on a frame for easy installation. The SM30 is easy to set and can be connected to a BMS system via Modbus.

Specification

  • Liquid temperature from -30°C – +120°C

Flow & Head

  • Max Flow: 630 m³/h
  • Max Head: 160 m

Usually a booster set will pump cold water, although they can pump hot water, softened water, processed water or even grey water in the case of a rainwater harvesting system. The main purpose of a cold water booster pump set is to supply water to a building, commonly where water storage is required or mains water pressure is not sufficient to reach the top of the building or to meet the demand.

For example, in the case of a tower block, the mains will only provide half a bar of pressure which amounts to roughly five metres of height when pumped. In this case, the pressurisation unit will provide enough pressure for the liquid to reach all water points. Some buildings require water storage so that there is enough water to meet demand, and some can store up to a day’s worth of water. The same type of water storage is also used as a break in a water system, as some processes can cause contamination so this helps alleviate any risk.

Low water pressure is becoming an increasingly worrying issue for citizens around the world. There are three main reasons for this:

  • A consistently growing demand for more water
  • A requirement for constant pressure as standard
  • Water Authorities only have to guarantee a pressure of 1 bar at a simultaneous flow of 9 litres/min

Hot and Cold Water Booster Pumps are the solution to low water pressure. By installing a pump system, you achieve a constant reliable water pressure, giving you and your users a quality experience.
