SEFT – Bar Screens

SEFT have been producing Waste Water Screens for many years now. They produce both screens to go in waste water channels and to connect to waste water pipes. This means they can be both used in factory situations and sewage works.

  • Automatic Cleaning
  • Robust Construction
  • Low Maintenance
  • Made to fit in Waste Water Channels or Connected to existing pipework

Bar Screens Range

Bar Screen Multi Rake

This is one of the first stages that the waste water should go through when going through a waste water system. This is a System that screens the waste water removing the largest bits. This system uses a multi-rake composed of fixed bars and a rake/comb for separation of the solids from the liquids. This system therefore only removes the largest lumps from the waste, it is not a fine filter like the screw screens

Benefits & Features

  • Made to fit in waste water channels
  • Removes large waste obsticals
  • Fixed in one posistion

Channel Brushes Screen

This Screen would come after a Bar Screen as it has the next level of filteration catching the finer bits of waste that got through the Bar Screen. This is known to have the medium -fine screening therefore picking out the medium size bits.

Benefits & Features

  • Medium-Fine Screen
  • Low maintenance
  • Sits inside the channel

Mechanical Bar Screen

This is a automatic piece of equipment that is installed in the Channel where the waste water flows. This piece of equipment has the ability to screen waste down to pieces that are between 1mm and 40mm. Turning automatically and collecting the rubbish means that it needs to automatically get rid of the waste aswell which this system does in its self cleaning motion.

Benefits & Features

  • Removes waste from 1mm to 40mm
  • Automatic Self Cleaning
  • Made completly of of stainless steel

Step Screen

This equipment is used for the solid-liquid separation operations for waste water screening. These are typically used at waste water plants where effective screening is crucial. This peice of equipment is made so that all trasmission systems, bearings, shafts and couplings are out of the waste water.

Benefits & Features

  • Customized Equipment
  • Series of laminas with a step design
  • Made from Stainless Steel
  • Simple Robust Construction

Perforated Mesh Vertical Screen

This machine is made to intercept the solids within the channel meaning the majority of solids are removed form the flow and therefore reducing the damage that can be caused later down the production line.

Benefits & Features

  • Protects Electric Pumps
  • Medium or fine screening
  • Self Cleaning with washing nozzels and brushes

Manual Bar Screen

This is a manual bar screen that filters larger waste from the waste water passage. This screen however does not work automatically and has to be worked manually by an operator. This also comes with a container to collect the waste in.

Benefits & Features

  • Cost Effective
  • Durable
  • Simple to Use

Seft’s bar screens are made to remove large solids that are within the waste water system. These screens use either bar, comb or chain rakes to remove the solids from the liquid. This range of Seft Bar Screens are made for course screening removing large solids however some smaller solids may still pass through. These screens are used on sites such as Slaughterhouses, Paper Mills and in the Food and Beverage Industries. These screens are made to be installed in a permanent situation and they are often made to size meaning the Bar screen will be specific to your system.

Below we will list a few benefits and features of installing a Seft Bar screen into your system.

  • Fixed in one position and made to fit into waste water channels
  • Course screening, made to remove medium to fine solids from the waste.
  • These filters aren’t made to be an expense to the customer, they are cost effective. They are made to save money for the customer. This may not be obvious however if they are reducing blockages and breakdowns in your system then they are ultimately saving you money.
  • These screens are made with self-cleaning components such as washing nozzles and brushes to maximise its service life.
  • These screens are easy to use, they work automatically
  • Protects other equipment in the waste water treatment line
