The Challenge
One of the largest prisons in the UK had an immediate problem with its shower block. All the shower pumps had failed at the same time in one of the prison wings, meaning the shower block was out of order. A prompt solution was required without delay.
The Solution
Following a speedy assessment by the Dura Pump technical team, we acted quickly by replacing all the shower pumps, making all mechanical and electrical connections before testing and commissioning.
Crucial to this work was our speed of service which was needed to avert crisis. We also worked out of hours to minimise any disruption.
The Outcome

Sourcing the shower pumps quickly and having engineers who could act immediately and out of hours resulted in an impressive speed of service to get this shower block up and running as fast as possible.
This positive result meant that inmates could once again access their shower block with minimal delay. This type of issue in prisons can incite riots therefore immediate intervention is a prerequisite.
