Reverse Osmosis Problems Rectified for Specialist Manufacturer
The Challenge
A factory came to us regarding issues they were having with their water supply. This company was experiencing issues with their RO (reverse osmosis) system due to fluctuating water pressure that was supplying it.
The Solution
Dura Pump attended the site and assessed the needs of the manufacturing company to rectify the issue they had with fluctuating pressure.
Following our site visit, we specified, supplied and installed a Category 5 1650l break tank. This high-performance break tank was installed with a pump system to ensure consistent pressure at all times.
We connected the existing supply line to the tank and then reconnected it via the
booster pumps to their water pipes. The booster pumps are variable speed providing a constant and consistent pressure to the RO system, providing a long-term solution to their problem. The Dura Pump team installed the complete package including the tank, pumps and any pipework modifications.
The Outcome
The final result was commissioned: resulting in a successful, fully-operational project from specification and installation to commissioning. Our satisfied customer had their RO system issues resolved and thanks to reliable, constant water pressure; they’re able to continue to produce purified water for their factory for years to come.
